Come and find inner peace at this third-row beach house with coveted sea-to-sound views just a few steps from the beach access. Two wraparound decks provide shade and a breeze while you take in the beautiful views. Out front, the Avon Village sidewalk awaits your early morning jog or a sunset stroll. You'll enjoy being close to the famous Canadian Hole, Hatteras Lighthouse, Food Lion, Dollar Tree, great restaurants, and anything else you desire.

You'll love having access to the Outer Beaches swimming pools, and you can clean your fresh catch of the day at the cleaning station beneath the property. This house is a delight to come home to after a day spent at the beach, offering an outdoor shower to rinse away any lingering sand and a washer/dryer to take care of the swimsuits and towels.

Tucked away on Highway 12, the spacious interior is filled with natural light and beautiful coastal décor. The upper level features a well-equipped kitchen, a large dining room table, and a comfortable great room perfect for movie nights. Two bedrooms feature deck access. Perfect family getaway

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay this past week while at the outer banks. We stayed as a 3-generation family, and this property was everything we could have hoped for. As another reviewer noted, it doesn’t have the most up to date finishes, but that hardly mattered. The property was clean, charming, comfortable, and the perfect place to create memories with 2 grandkids under 5. The beach wasn’t more than a 5 minute walk, and the proximity to the grocery store made getting supplies during the week super simple. I’m a runner, and had multiple options for running routes each day. Cannot recommend this properly enough. We had an amazing time!

The house itself was pretty and the location was great. However, when we arrived we quickly noticed the floors hadn’t been swept (it is the guests responsibility to clean the floors prior to checkout) so not only did the previous guest not complete the check-out requirements. But the “cleaning crew” didn’t check behind them. This was also evident with the old coffee grounds left in the coffee machine, old, popped balloons, broken decorations and leftover need bullets found behind the TV in the living room. There was also black mold noted in the upstairs bathroom. The top bunks did not have sheets on them, just the quilts. While cooking we found that not all the cookware had been cleaned. The stay was good due to the location and the presence of my friends. However, the “cleaning crew” needs work.

Family trip

Overall this was a nice trip. The access to the beach has changed however and is a bit farther than listed. Our parents had a hard time due to to walking. The house itself was great. Overall we all had a fun time.

One of the best beach trips my family and I have ever taken. The house was so clean and welcoming! Loved the view and the outdoor shower was so perfect! Only a 5 minute walk to get to the beach!

Beautiful property, terrible communication

Our rental in Avon was beautiful and in a gorgeous location. There was a large deck and great views. There was plenty of room for my family of 6 to spread out and relax. The outdoor shower was wonderful for keeping the sand outside. There was a fully stocked grocery store a 1/2 mile from the house and the beach was very close. The main issue that we had was slow communication from the rental company (Vacasa). There were long waits to reach someone via phone and it often took several hours to reach someone via text. The individuals at the communication center were often not able to answer direct questions about the property. I typically had to verify my reservation information every time I had a question. It would have been nice to have a local representative to talk to and communicate with.
