Disappointing. Dirty furniture, and quite old and uncomfortable. Multiple urine stains on bed cover downstairs ( main BR). Wifi did not work, TV service did not work, oven had error code so could not use, Left early since this house was not as advertised. Wrote to both VRBO and Hattera Realty during stay with no response. Would have updated this review if there was a response with attempt to make things right. Cannot recommend this house as is.

We stayed at this house for a weekend and overall had a good experience. The location is excellent — it’s right on the beachfront, and you can see the ocean from the porch, which makes for beautiful sunrises. The house itself is spacious, bright, and generally clean.However, there were several issues:1.We were not sent the access code in advance, so after a long drive we had to call and wait for assistance, which took extra time.2.The listing did not mention a grill. I even contacted the manager beforehand to confirm, and was told there was no grill. We brought our own, which took up half the trunk, only to find that the house actually had two grills.3.Many of the dishes were chipped or not properly cleaned.4.There were no basic essentials like salt or pepper, which feels like a minimal standard and would be easy for the host to provide.5.Communication was confusing — some information was in the app, some came via email from different addresses, which made it hard to keep track of everything.Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but these issues affected the experience and could be improved.

Perfect location. Close to a few restaurants and Food Lion. Short dune walk to the beach! Gorgeous view feom deck. Very clean and well stocked! Only issue is property management company never advised when property was ready. After check-in, however they did communicate to see if we had.any questions or issues. I would definitely stay here again!!

A group of four of us went and it was perfect for what we needed. It was cozy and had direct access to the beach/view. We didn't have any issues checking in or out. There isn't a ton of things to do nearby but we planned on just going to the beach most days so it was great for us. We would stay here again.

No assistance when really needed it.

We enjoyed our stay until our last day, we lost power in half the house. No tv, no lights on 2nd floor, no lights outside , no washer and dryer and no lights in kitchen. Called Twice for assistance and nobody came or called.

Best House on the Beach

We love this house. It is very comfortable for the two of us but will also work if we are joined by family or friends. The kitchen has everything. The new bathroom was terrific. The weather was great the entire time. We have already reserved a spot for next year.

Good location

Property is oceanfront just a shortwalk through the dunes to the beach. We didnt need everything it had to offer as it was mainly a crash pad for a guy's fishing trip and we were gone all day for our few day trip. Not far from grocery store, bait shop, and several restaurants.

This house could use some maintenance. Rugs are old and weary. Not well vacuumed either. Closet door broken. Not even one waste basket in house. Basically a bit shabby all around. However Tvs and appliances worked. Passable experience. Online photos much better than reality.
