Clean. Well-stocked kitchen (utensils, pots/pans etc.) Centrally located right across the street from the rampart wall. Two separate bedrooms a plus. Drying rack a welcome addition. Sofa cushions sagging. Quiet location.

Ideal Location

Right across the street from the ancient rampart, and a quick walk to downtown and all the major tourist sites and the central train station. It worked perfectly for us.

Needs some work

Great location. Kitchen good. Generall clean but one or two dusty surfaces (mirrors in main bedroom). Toilet does not have a sink and the one on the bedroom has to be used. Shower in main bedroom unusable as the door is fitted incorrectly and it floods the bedroom (we used the one upstairs). Stairs to the upstairs bedroom has narrow winding treads and no handrail so need to take care. Both settees in lounge are knackered and need replacing. Both bedrooms need storage sorting. The storage cubes in the main bedroom had the iron and bedding in them so no room for clothes. Upstairs bedroom had no hanging space whatsoever and the only drawers were in the eaves so unusable really unless you crouched and walked at the same time. Upstairs bedroom shower OK but the bedroom ceiling goes from barely standupable to very crouchable in a very short distance. In short it was OK for us two for our 5 nights but not recommended for any length of time or more than two adults.

Pleasant apartment in a fantastic location

My partner and I reserved this apartment, and then afterwards friends decided to join us. We were two couples. I would not advise two couples sharing this apartment. The photos are accurate in that the loft bedroom ceiling can be problematic- I banged my head a lot, and I’m short. I was not surprised about this, and since we were staying just two nights, it was fine. Perhaps it’s because I’m from the US, but I found the bathroom description in the listing to be misleading. There are two shower stalls, one in the loft bedroom and one in the regular bedroom. There is one separate toilet, a water closet. so there are not two full bathrooms. The entire apartment just has one toilet. That being said. We really loved the apartment. It’s perfect for two people or a couple with young children. Great location, lovely design, and the kitchen is well set up. We cooked two meals a day. I would definitely rent this apartment again, just not with two couples. I highly recommend it!

Family Stay

Great location if you are planning to rent a car. Easy parking is available close by. Within a few minutes' walking from the location, you can get to most of Avignon's attractions. The upstairs bedroom has a low ceiling. Our kids thought it was really cool, almost like a fort.

Loved the apartment and Avignon

Thank you for letting us stay in your central character filled apartment in a quiet area very close to everything to explore. Family of four very grateful to have found this gem. There are steep steps for anyone with mobility issues but this didn’t bother us.

Convenient. Clean. Not intended to be fancy. But good cost. Good beds. Easy to get into town of Avignon, but figure out up front how to get back home before you lose yourself in town.

Lovely apartment!

We really enjoyed our time in Avignon & this apartment was the perfect place to stay. We really appreciated being in a historical building, and there were many thoughtful and useful items in the apartment, such as a plug converter, which made our stay easy and convenient.

Great, well resourced apartment in an excellent area of Avignon

The apartment had everything we needed for a 6 night stay and is located within easy walking distance of just about anywhere in Avignon old town. The check-in and out procedure couldn't have been easier.

Découverte d'Avignon

Très belle ville avec beaucoup de lieux culturels. Balades très agréables avec peu de circulation. Le logement était idéal tant par son aménagement que par sa localisation. L'hôte a été d'une grande gentillesse et ous a permis de profiter pleinement de notre séjour.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön gelegen direkt an der alten Stadtmauer und nur wenige Fußminuten von der Innenstadt und dem Papstpalast entfernt. Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor der Tür. Das Innere ist originell und zweckmäßig, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war perfekt, alle Fragen wurden innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet. Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!

Bonjour La ville Avignon est agréable. Personne nous a accueilli en trouvant la clé sur la table sans le constater jusqu’à la fin de séjour . L appartement est belle . Merci à vous Mme Jacquet
