Vacation home on the Danish border

We are a quiet village right on the Danish border. One side of the road is Denmark and the other is Germany. The lake behind the house is also half German and half Danish. You can go fishing and canoeing there. The Nolde Foundation is a one-hour walk (1.5 km) away. We have a beautiful swimming beach on the Danish side. There are some bike paths, and we’re located along the North-Baltic Sea Route. There’s a heated swimming pool in the neighboring village. The outer dike facing the North Sea is 4.5 km away. From here, you can reach Sylt via Klanxbüll (8 km) and, from Dagebüll, the Halligen islands as well as Föhr and Amrum. In the spring and fall, “Sort Sol” (Black Sun) takes place—a natural phenomenon featuring thousands of starlings.
