It is a good option. The service is extraordinary. Vanessa Bernal is attentive, professional, friendly, and helpful. The hotel facilities are in need of renovation, but some rooms offer an incredible view of the sea.

The property is pretty tired and the rooms are even more so but the location is fantastic, the views are incredible, and if you are planning a stay where you plan to be out exploring rather than spending your time in the room, it’s a fine choice. Our unit had a full kitchen which we appreciated as we went offshore fishing and were able to cook our catch. Just set your expectations accordingly! We plan to stay again.

The entire property is very dilapidated and rundown. It appears as though there’s no maintenance done on the exterior and certainly not in the rooms. If it were not located on Catalina Island, it would be a solid one star hotel. Rather disgusting.

Get the larger room with the kitchenette. Just a heads up, this hotel is facing the other way so you don’t have a chance for a view from your room. But just step out and walk thirty feet to the left and you will find the view! It has a feel of a Mexican resort, quite charming. A little overpriced but all of the hotels have increased their rates.
