Room 9’s view was amazing and sleeps 3 comfortably and had a microwave, a fridge and dishes for 3. You can stow luggage till 5 and they have a charming courtyard with tables a grill and a small vending machine. Most rooms are upstairs so if ADA room is required mention. The hotel is mere steps from the Vons.

The place has a bright and very colorful feel yet is a place of peace away from the outside world. Avalon can be a pretty busy place when the cruise ships come in, then you walk up a short alley and forget where you are.

Rooms are a little dated, however the location is ideal for exploring Avalon. Vons grocery store is 2 minute walk, so very convenient. The courtyard seating is good for having snacks, wine and card games.

At first I was a little hesitant to book this hotel only due to the location in the pictures but I'm glad I did. The hotel was clean inside, easy quick check-in, a beautiful patio surrounded by lovely plants. Staff was present daily, keeping the area clean and tidy. The location of the hotel was even better. Far away enough from the busy streets of Avalon but a close walk to through the little town. I will definitely be back!
