Room is quaint and charming. However, the floors were stucky, food remnants left in refrigerator, dirty frying pan and spatula. The baseboards were not cleaned. Towels and sheets were good as was the coffee in lobby, staff was friendly however seemed shocked and powerless to make any changes.

Nice location, a short walk from where Catalina Express drops you off and maybe a block away from the museum. I booked a double room and unfortunately had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get there. Not ideal for a family traveling with a baby, stroller, etc. The double room is a bit cramped. Sink is in the main room and the shower/toilet are behind a very tiny room. It's an old hotel so probably just how it was built. I would say it was definitely clean and an average hotel with the most decent price I could find on Catalina.

Staff was super nice and helpful, I love that they have beach towels and beach equipment for use. We had a very small room, but we were fine.

The building where the rooms sits is really old. A lot of moisture inside the rooms. The thing I really liked about the location, is the convenience. There are a lot of places to eat within walking distance, lots of outdoor activities.

Although sold as a vintage restored hotel, and we seek those out, the overall conditions of this particular unit showed poor craftsmanship, cost corner cutting and housekeeping needing to be more thorough. The bed was listed as a queen but only if you are a small person. Clearly a double. As pictues often are shot for best vantage point, the ones online are telling a much bigger tale than expected. Place really shows its age and corner cutting. Close to everything, not of value as the entire town is walkable in minutes. Staff seemed indifferent. Three stars is being nice. Next trip going to stay elsewhere, might even stay state side and spend more for boat trips.

Our stay was pleasant. The setup of the hotel is very unique, in that the rooms are cottage style. However, the building looked and felt old, and the room we stayed in did not feel very clean. It looked like it had been renovated, but not a complete job. But, the service was great and helped us with whatever we needed. Overall, it was an ok spot to lay our heads at night, but I don’t think we’d stay there again unless they do something about the condition of the rooms/building.

Very convenient. Located right off of the main road and not steep. The cottage was old. There were patches on the wall and it could use a paint job on the interior. The bathroom is very small and hard to move freely. The fixtures are older. The bed was comfortable and there was a tv and Wi-Fi. I liked that each unit was a standalone unit. Staff were friendly. There was a refrigerator and microwave and small cooktop.

A perfectly located hotel that shows its age but has been well cared for. Great to have luggage storage for arrivals before check in and departures after check out times. Cabins have kitchens with a cooktop, good-sized refrigerator, and microwave. No coffee maker but its available in the lobby most of the time. They also smallish bathrooms and stairs, more than 20 to climb if you get one of the cabins at the top. Staff did great but were overwhelmed, at times, attempting to respond to all the requests received. The street can be very crowded with noisy and smelly carts since it leads to the intersection at the end of the pedestrians only portion of Crescent Avenue, but our rooms was quiet. Shops and dining options are very close and easily walkable. We brought our own bikes and there was limited room at the hotel to park them which was constantly full. Other options were close by.
