Perched 87 steps above the charming streets of Avalon, this hillside villa commands sweeping, uninterrupted views of Hamilton Cove Bay and the Pacific beyond - a panorama that shifts from morning gold to evening amber right from your balconies. The elevation isn't just a number; it's the reason every glance outward feels like a private reward. Whether you're sipping coffee at sunrise or watching the lights of Avalon flicker on at dusk, the setting does most of the work.

Living space
Inside, the open-concept living area is grounded by hand-scraped mahogany floors and reclaimed ancient stone imported from Corsica, Italy - details that give the space a sense of place and permanence. A queen-size Restoration Hardware sofa sleeper anchors the lounge area, offering both a comfortable spot to unwind and flexible sleeping for additional guests. The TV and board games mean evenings in are just as easy as evenings out.

Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom is built around a king-size Ritz Carlton mattress dressed in Cariloha sheets - soft, breathable, and designed for a genuinely restful night. With views reaching toward the bay, waking up here rarely feels like a hardship.

Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a proper home-cooked meal - refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, baking sheet, and all the cooking basics. Wine glasses and a coffee maker handle the quieter moments. When the weather calls for it, fire up the BBQ grill and take the meal outside.

An electric golf cart is included with your stay, making it easy to explore Avalon at your own pace. Outside, furnished shared patios and balconies give you multiple spots to sit with the view. Déjà vu Catalina

We returned to Catalina and Hamilton Cove after 15 years. The Villa was as we remembered it. It also has a major challenge as it is 76 steps up and 76 steps down. If you go in and out twice a day that is over 300 steps. This probably mentioned especially if you have difficulty with steps. The villa has multiple tv access but no instructions on how to use. Villa and Catalina were good memories, steps not so much.

Amazing Stay With Lots of Perks

We loved our stay at this condo, way better than the photos! Great location in a quiet community that still has quick access to the main town. The host is what really stood out to us as he coordinated experiences (beach setup), golf cart pickup/drop off at the harbor making it super easy to get to and from, and offered many local recommendations. The hosts quick communication made the entire experience enjoyable and smooth. 10/10 would recommend.

We had an incredible Memorial Day weekend stay in Avalon! This condo exceeded our expectations and gave us the perfect Catalina experience. The amenities were amazing — we loved snorkeling right outside our doorstep on the private beach, using the mini greens, and enjoying the tennis courts, croquet court, volleyball courts, barbecue areas, heated pool, and spa overlooking the ocean. The included golf cart was a huge highlight and made everything so convenient. We were able to easily load our luggage after the ferry ride and drive straight to the condo, plus explore Avalon and the scenic routes around the island. It also made transporting our paddleboards, snorkel gear, and scuba equipment effortless. The condo itself was beautiful, with ocean views from every room. We especially loved relaxing on the balcony with coffee at sunrise and dinner at sunset. The location felt peaceful and private while still being only about a 7-minute drive from downtown Avalon. The hill definitely helped us get our steps in, but the views were worth it! Customer service was exceptional from start to finish. Staff was attentive, responsive, and easy to reach by text, email, or phone. We were also pleasantly surprised with complimentary museum tickets, which was such a thoughtful touch. We felt safe, comfortable, and so grateful for this experience. This was truly a five-star stay with five-star service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island!

Wonderful Stay!

From the moment we arrived, it was obvious this villa resort operates on a completely different level. Every detail—every view, every moment—felt elevated, and genuinely luxurious. The villa itself was immaculate. Spacious, beautifully designed, and perfectly private, it felt less like a rental and more like our own personal paradise. Waking up to breathtaking views and ending the day with sunsets that looked straight out of a postcard never got old. The beds were insanely comfortable, and the outdoor space was peaceful, scenic, and made for pure relaxation. What truly sets this villa apart, though, was the service. The interactions with our booking agent were warm, attentive, and somehow always one step ahead. Every request was met with enthusiasm, not obligation. We felt taken care of. If you’re even considering booking here, stop thinking and just do it.

Breathtaking views. Quiet and peaceful island experience. An amazing and unique chance to experience a lavish lifestyle with all the amenities. The cart is absolutely necessary to enjoy this location. Recommend carting to Vons to bring back food to cook on the full kitchen or balcony bbq.

Very relaxing

The view! The spa! The Hamilton Cove property is the best we have stayed at in many years of visiting Catalina. The manager was very helpful as we had some issues finding the unit and charging the cart. But in the end we figured it all out.
