Perched above Avalon's iconic shoreline, this ocean-view condo on Santa Catalina Island puts you just steps from a place unlike anywhere else in Southern California. Sip your morning coffee with the Pacific stretching out in front of you, spend your afternoons exploring winding island streets by golf cart, and come home each evening to a space that feels as considered as any coastal retreat you've stayed in.

Living space
The interior reflects genuine craftsmanship - mahogany hand-scraped hardwood floors run throughout, and the walls meet reclaimed 15th-century limestone imported from Corsica. The open-concept living area is bright and comfortable, anchored by a smart TV with Alexa voice control. A ceiling fan and portable fans keep the space comfortable year-round, and the layout flows naturally out to the balcony.

Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom is fitted with a Cariloha king mattress and quality bed linens, designed for genuinely restful sleep after a day on the island. The living space includes a king-sized sofa sleeper, accommodating the full party of four comfortably.

Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen features KitchenAid stainless steel appliances throughout - refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave - alongside a Keurig coffee maker stocked with Starbucks capsules, a blender, toaster, baking sheet, wine glasses, and a full set of barbecue utensils. Whether you're preparing a full meal or just fuelling up before a hike, everything you need is here.

Outdoor & extras
Step out onto the ocean-facing balcony and take in the view over Avalon's palm-dotted coastline. The outdoor space includes a dining set and a BBQ grill - ideal for an evening cook-up with the sea breeze rolling in. A hot tub is also available on the property. For getting around the island, a 2020 EZGO electric golf cart is included with your stay - practical, eco-friendly, and one of the best ways to experience Avalon. An EV charger is on-site as well. Free parking is available on the premises.

Avalon is the only city on Santa Catalina Island, a short ferry ride from the Southern California coast. Our host Rimas, was very quick to reply to any questions we had before and during our stay. The condo furnishings were very nice quality. It felt like we were staying at a friends nice condo and not a worn down rental property. This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this property and will absolutely stay there again!

Staying at Hamilton Cove reminded us of our stay in Praiano Italy on the Amalfi Coast. Beautiful ocean views on the cliffs of the shore. Great getaway! The use of golf cart was a great bonus while on the island.

Weekend Getaway

This was our first time to the island. We had a great time, the host was very helpful, the property was as described. The view all throughout the day from the balcony was amazing and the golfcart they provided was great, it came with a stereo system so we were able to enjoy our trip around the island to the fullest.

We stayed in the most beautiful villa. Well appointed with new furniture a lovely deck with BBQ over looking the Pacific Ocean. We are looking to book again and invite a couple more friends. Rimas was a great host and was available to answer any questions we had about the island, what to do for fun and the best restaurants.

The property was beautiful and the condo was decorated so cool. It had everything we needed. The bed was VERY COMFORTABLE. The towels were soft and plentiful. Definitely recommend this condo for a couple. It was our 25th anniversary and the owner was very sweet to leave us a bottle of wine, thank you!

Fabulous property with amazing views. Very comfortable and nice! The host was very responsive and kind. I would certainly recommend this condo. There are a lot of stairs, so you will need the ability to climb them to stay in this unit.
