My group of 3 friends and I had a wonderful Amazon experience recently at Cabana Nativa Paraiso where we stayed 2 nt/ 3 days. While our rooms (2 singles and 1 twin cabin) are basic - only 1 room has hot shower, the air con works great - a step up from my Peruvian Amazon lodge! Food is home cooked and delicious with fresh juices at breakfast and lunch. Activities give a good understanding of Amazon life and our guides Eddy and Marcelo are amazing!! Transfer to lodge from Manaus by boat/ VW van/ boat takes about 2.5- 3 hrs so very convenient.

Here you get the chance to stay in a lodge and live alongside the locals, which is a unique experience. The employees and family that operates this are passionate, engaged & committed to you having a great time. Do not miss your opportunity to stay here! But... Go into this adventure with an open mind and connect with the locals to get the most out of this experience - only then you will truly experience the Amazon in its fullest glory.
