The laundry was out of order based on the staff prediction and it actually works well. Some of the front desk people have a terrible attitude and rude to the customer.

Cleanliness and AC issues

Upon walking in to the hotel you immediately notice that the rugs at the front desk are stained, and furniture in the lobby is worn. Room was standard, modern amenities, bed was clean, however tables were dusty, bathroom walls were dirty, and dirty washcloth left hanging on the shower curtain. We had family of 3 noted on the reservation, but they didn’t provide enough towels. When I called the desk for another towel, I noticed the phone looked like it had not been cleaned. AC was very loud in the room, and was not working in the hallway, leading to a musty smell. Person at check-in had her AirPods in and was not very helpful to a gentleman trying to figure out his rate. I have stayed at several hotels in the area and never had issues like this.

I’d rate it higher except for LaQuinta ownership being cheap and asking me to pay $40 for early check-in. To be made to pay or wait in the lobby for over an hour?? Come on. I’ve never had that happen before.

Was very confused why they did not allow me to get a late checkout- the hotel was quite empty. They threatened to charge me 25 dollars if I did not leave by 11AM. Also a lot of working men, not sure if it’s a good idea for a woman traveling alone.
