It was an overall good experience it was just the inconvenience of the elevator being out of order. They later fixed it. I would stay again.clean room friendly staff AC was perfect.

Room had an awful wet mold smell. Sink was super wobbly. Really thought it was going to fall off the wall. Hotel was hot. Breakfast did not have alot of warm food option. We stay at alot of holiday inns and this was very low end.

The lobby lacks air conditioning. The air conditioning in the room was excessively noisy. It was not the best part of town so I was grateful that the parking lot was very well lit, however, also, it was impossible to fully close the blackout shades so the room was very bright from the well lit parking lot.

Clean room. Building is old and needs to be renovated. There is construction on the highway making it hard to find the place. Breakfast was good. The room had paint on a chair.

Parking was fine, staff was very sweet and helpful. The area around the hotel was under construction but it also had a lot of people just “gathering” and hanging out in the parking lot. We felt uneasy about leaving our vehicle overnight. We also initially received a room that smelt AWFUL. They made it right and switched us when we called down but based off their reaction when we explained the smell- I believe they know it was there and we’re not going to further inspect/ resolve the problem.

The good: The staff was friendly and helpful, check In was quick and effortless. My room had good A/C, the TV worked perfectly, the bathroom was nice and clean. The bad: My bed had some strange stains on the sheet, which wasn't discovered until the next day and the one side chair had a dark stain on the fabric, I don't want to know what that was, seriously gross! The carpet had white stains, like paint or drywall residue. The hotel is right off the freeway,which is under construction and just a nightmare. There is nothing around this hotel to see or do, its just a place to sleep in for one night and move on to something better.

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels over the years with no complaints, but this one was disappointing. We had to wait behind a line of cars waiting to pick up their kids at the school across the street and parking was jammed with parents picking up students. The lock on the exterior door next to the elevators was broken (and we were told that a part had been ordered) and anyone could walk in without a key, the elevator and hallways reeked of weed, and we witnessed a number of shady characters waiting by exterior doors coming in and being escorted by other hotel guests. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, but the property was under renovation and the surrounding area was sketchy, leaving us with a bit of an uneasy feeling about our stay. I will probably never stay at this location again.
