When we checked in, there was only one employee at the front desk and a line of us to check in. She was efficient and polite. She upgraded us to a king room with a sofa bed which was nice to have the extra space. However, the wallpaper was poorly repaired, the bed was not very comfortable, and the pillows were not comfortable at all. We couldn't find a good combination of pillows to get a restful sleep.
We went to bar after seeing a show and ordered some dessert. Went the piece of cheesecake arrived we immediately noticed that it had mold on it! The bartender immediately took it away and did not charge us for it. We sat and talked while watching a game on TV and the bartender delivered some cheese sticks as an apology for the dessert mishap. They were good. He was extremely apologetic for everything and did not charge us for anything.
The hotel's location was perfect for our visit, close to ACL, which was our primary reason for choosing to stay there. Overall, our experience was good.
