We'd planned a mini-vacation and found the Hathorne Extended Stay in Pflugerville. Everything was great, except maybe the bed (more later). I called about five days ahead of our stay and requested an upper-floor room. The staff said they'd do their best to accommodate us. And they did - 4th floor just like I'd asked.
I didn't know we'd have real breakfast options. During our stay, we enjoyed a variety of dishes, including scrambled eggs, omelets, biscuits & gravy, French toast sticks, sausage links and patties, potatoes, and make-your-own waffles. Plus all the things you usually find at limited breakfast facilities.
The facility was very clean, the staff were wonderful and it was convenient to a lot of off-site places to eat nearby. The only complaint was that the bed seemed a little firm and was not very "pillow-like". We still slept well but we've slept on more comfortable hotel beds.
If we're ever back in the Pflugerville area we'd definitely book a room at the Hawthorne again.
