The accommodations suited my needs which were for a hot shower, a bed for sleeping, and HV/AC. The majority of my Austin are visit was spent elsewhere. Room was clean and VERY quiet. Lack of closet for hanging clothes (there were wall hooks instead - very odd) and no luggage rack for additional guest's bags was slightly inconvenient and a surprise! But overall, price was right for a clean, quiet sleeping space. Check-in employee could use some training and coaching in creating a good first impression for herself and the property. Interaction was perfunctory and cold, even when told her this was my first experience at this type of property and tried to engage her in more informative interaction. That was her one opportunity to sell me on my first experience with this property specifically and this style of IHG brand abbreviated accommodations.

The walls are VERY thing. We were trying to sleep and could hear the people next door talking (and not very loud either) and their TV. There was mold in the shower. There are no toiletries like you regularly find in most hotels. No shower cap, nothing. It was just okay to stay for a night but we did not sleep well. I’m still waiting for my deposit refund… I had asked for a receipt but they said they don’t have any. That was very strange…

I had a really nice 4-night stay here! The price was unbeatable for the quality. My room, bathroom, towels, and bedding were very clean, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and hot water. Staff were kind, professional, and helpful, and the 24-hour coffee/tea bar was a nice perk. I didn’t try breakfast, but it smelled good and guests seemed to enjoy the eggs, potatoes, bacon, cereals, pastries, breads, and oatmeal. The lobby also has water and snacks for purchase. The hotel felt very well cared for—staff were always tidying and clearly take cleanliness seriously. The location was convenient: not downtown, but close to shopping, restaurants, and things to do. It’s just off the highway, but I barely heard any traffic from my room. The AC/heater worked quietly and efficiently, the TV had all major streaming services and live TV. The parking lot was well-lit in a safe area - didn't worry about my car at all. One thing to note: they charge an incidentals fee at check-in that’s refunded at checkout (timing depends on your bank). I wasn’t expecting it, so don’t be surprised like I was. Only downside: I stayed on the second floor and could hear footsteps and shower noise from the room above one night, as well as housekeeping cleaning the floors the next day. Otherwise, I didn’t hear any disturbing noise from other guests.
