The fire alarm went off at around 10:30pm. As did the power. We had to evacuate the building for about thirty minutes. The power was in for only first two levels. The rest of us had to stay downstairs until almost 2am as the power was still out and no AC in room, or we would have just gone upstairs and slept. Very little communication and absolutely no compensation for our lost time. No manager on duty, the only person was checkin guy who had absolutely no power to do anything, so he kept leaving the front desk to go into kitchen to avoid eye contact and people. I'm sure he was praying for his shift to end. The bartender had some info, but left as soon as his shift was over. It would have been nice for hotel to have even formally apologized to all the guests and compensated us the night or at least 1/2 of it as the hotel doubled the nightly rate due to Formula One being on this weekend. The hotel isnt losing any money. So, yeah. Night sucked.

Hotel was amazing they have plenty of things to do . Very vibrant vibe and modern . They had a pool table and bar in the lobby which was nice . HEB, shopping and stores are within a 5-7 minute drive .
