Nicatous Lodge is an authentic Maine hunting lodge and cabins, ideal for family reunions, weddings, birthdays, and enjoying the great Northern outdoors. This off grid getaway sits on 2.5 private acres with over 1,000ft of waterfront. The historic lodge, located on Nicatous Lake, has 7 bedrooms, a commercial grade kitchen, large dining room, expansive lounge with stone fireplace, and screened in porch. Additionally, there are 6 self sufficient cabins along Nicatous Stream. The cabins sleep between 2-10 people and most have small kitchenettes and screened in sitting porches. It's a perfect place to bring families and friends together where there is plenty of communal space to spend time together, but everyone still has their privacy.
Nicatous Lake is an 8 mile pristine lake with lots of small islands and sandy beaches to explore. Kayaks and canoes are provided and we have a variety of boats available for rent.
Nicatous Lodge is an authentic and rustic experience where people come to get away from it all, put their phones down, and enjoy time with the ones they love. That being said, we do have Starlink and hot showers! With the base package the rooms come with pillows and blankets, guests bring their own sheets and towels. For an extra fee, we can provide linens.
Outside we have 2 docks, firepits, grills, a screened in gazebo, plenty of space for lawn games and activities.
We abut thousands of acres of conservation land and the Maine ITS trail system.
