The Domaine de la Salamandre is located 35 minutes from Périgueux, in Auriac-du-Périgord. This peaceful haven spans 41 hectares and is dedicated to complete self-sufficiency in water, energy, and waste recycling. We are committed to passing on values of respect for nature, the environment, and others to future generations. The property features a greywater recycling system and thermal solar panels.
To cool off, you can enjoy a natural swimming pool that uses plant-based filtration.
The room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. On the ground floor, there is a sofa bed for two, a small sitting area, and on the mezzanine, two 90 cm beds (which can be combined into a 180 cm bed). Breakfast is included in your stay. Bed linens are provided and air-dried. The room is not suitable for children under 2 years old.
The dining room welcomes you each morning for breakfast. Upon request, a homemade dinner can also be arranged. An outdoor kitchen is available for preparing picnics and storing your food in the fridge, equipped with a refrigerator and electric cooktop. Please note: the outdoor kitchen is accessible only from May to September.
Certified organic since 2001, the estate offers farm products for sale, such as walnut oil and honey. Please note that pets are not allowed and Wi-Fi is only available on the shared terraces. Come and discover this unique place where modern comfort and respect for nature exist in harmony.
