The historic Stovall-Barnes House is a short walk from the Savannah River, the medical district, the Cyber Center, and many of the city's most dynamic entertainment venues, restaurants, and museums. This charming home retained some of the original wood floors, windows, and moldings. The new modern kitchen includes granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Includes stackable w/d, smart TVs, wifi, plush linens, and gated off-street parking. This unit is on a property with other VRBO listings. If you are in search of a place to house a large group for a wedding, girls weekend, family reunion or business function, please inquire about the availability of attached and nearby units on the property. Each unit, however, is it's own separate apartment that is completely private from the other units. There is the main house that has 4 units that share a common breezeway and then there is a stand alone building behind the main house with just two units. This is the upstairs of the two units in the stand alone building. Please also note, this home is located in the downtown environment and there will often be noise from a neighboring bar, trains and traffic.

This is my 2nd stay and it was cozy, comfortable and convenient to everything. A stones-throw from South Carolina and everything in downtown Augusta. I love the backyard fireplace and seating. It’s near everything yet safely tucked away.
My dog and I out early in the morning enjoying the fresh air.

Good place to stay

Good place to stay, and very close to downtown and the state line. The property was well stocked, and secure with gated access. Some areas were slightly unclean from previous guests, but not significantly, and there were cleaning supplies provided. The host was great, and very responsive to messages. Nearby bar music was very loud.

Charming

Perfect for walking to anything downtown. I love the character of the historic building. In town for 1 night for the Masters. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy during the day

Everything was pleasant. The only complaint I really have is the loudness of the adjacent business. Wednesday through Saturday nights, around 9 pm to 12 am, there is very loud music that can be felt through the bed. Ear plugs work decently. Otherwise, I would stay here again. The outdoor patio area is fantastic and all the guests that I met were very kind.

Great location

I enjoyed the stay in Augusta. The property location made it easy to walk the 10 minutes to the Convention Center and Riverwalk. The unit was great for 1-2 people (and a dog!). Great fenced in outdoor area.
