From the moment you open the door, the ocean views will grab your attention and your holiday will begin! Start your break by looking at the 180’ views of the harbour and Te Whau Bay and be welcomed by the two islands in front of you.

Ocean View is a modern light filled homestay with funky furniture, an open plan living area, where you can pull up a stool and chat over a coffee while enjoying the fabulous sea view. With decks at the front and back of the house you can follow the sun or the shade all day. Lunch on the back deck watching the ferry’s and boats go by, or dinner on the front deck watching the lights of the city and Sky Tower dazzle in the distance.

Ideally located, just a short 10min stroll to the Kennedy Point ferry. If you’re heading to a wedding, you are just a short cab ride from Mudbrick and Cable Bay vineyards on the Oneroa side of the island, or equally close to the best of fine dining on the Onetangi strip.

On wet days there are board games and puzzles, turn up the heat pump and get toasty while watching your favourite TV shows or movies (we have Netflix) streamed onto a 55” 4K TV (via Apple TV) with fibre connection to ensure both gaming and movies run smoothly.

There is a cold plunge pool available for your use. Please note that by accepting the Terms and Conditions to rent this property you also accept full responsibility when using the pool: the owner takes no responsibility.

During off season we offer three nights for the price of two from 1st May until 30th September. We also offer 7 nights for the price of 5 during the period 1st May to 30th September.

My family and I stayed 2 nights at the property. We found the property very clean, modern and spacious. The views were 10/10. Richard popped to ensure we checked in ok & and was very friendly. The only downside was the toilet leaked

Beautiful family holiday spot

The view... just spectacular! Could have sat out on the deck for days! Beautiful, comfortable and clean property that i will be sure to visit again. The local bay is spectacular! Highly recommended!

House with views to die for!

Perfect location, with sea views from both sides. Full doors and windows on both sides that open up to bring in the sea air! House that has been renovated and modernised well. Bright and very easy to live in. Great that it was pet friendly, not fully fenced (just a FYI to others, it didn't matter for our dogs). Clean and tidy, just could do with the odd clean that is higher than arm height.

Me and my family stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. Weather wasn't great (unfortunately the bbq area was covered), but still a good time (including using the swimming pool while raining!) Comfy beds, enough space and great to spend the holidays!
