This is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are as described. Basic but very comfortable and well located in a nice part of town. The attached restaurant is excellent, charming and reasonably priced. From the outset, it is obvious that the staff work as a team and go beyond in making one’s stay or visit to the restaurant really pleasant. Will definitely stay again.

The staff were amazing. We arrived early as we had a funeral to attend. The young lady changed our room so we could get changed . Much appreciated. The restaurant was fantastic and the food wonderful. Looking really awesome. The room was clean and tidy, good size for us. The bathroom was old and in need of a dose of exit mould maybe. That was our only complaint, and only a small one. Overall ,it was a lovely stay.

I only stayed for one night and didn't need to partake of all the facilities. The room was clean and servicable, but the buildings are getting older and some refurb would be good.

The bed was comfortable, very clean and well maintained. The room had all the amenities expected. We particularly liked the good food in the attractive inn, its location within town, its vibe as an older building, and the big free car park. There is a river walk close to the inn. The town us a shortish drive to various coastal beauty spots.
