Summary:
Set above Huruhi Bay, Bluebelle is a renovated Waiheke cottage with sea views, a sunny deck, wood-burning fire and separate children’s sleepout. Sleeping up to 6 guests with a maximum of 4 adults, it suits families, couples and dog-friendly stays, with Little Oneroa Beach a 15-minute walk away and Oneroa Village just a few minutes by car.
The Space:
Bluebelle is a renovated Waiheke cottage overlooking Huruhi Bay, with a sunny outdoor deck, flexible family sleeping arrangements and a separate sleepout.
Bi-fold doors connect the kitchen and living area with the partially covered sea-facing deck, where there is a large outdoor dining table, seating and a BBQ. The elevated position provides views across the bay and gives the main living spaces an easy indoor-outdoor connection.
Inside, the open-plan living area has wooden floors, a ceiling fan and a wood-burning fireplace for cooler stays. There is no TV at the property.
The kitchen is well equipped for everyday holiday cooking, with the outdoor dining area and BBQ providing another option for meals during warmer weather. The BBQ was replaced in April 2026.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating, and a desk. The second bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed.
A separate sleepout provides additional sleeping space for children. It contains a triple bunk and its own desk, with an external toilet available nearby.
The property sleeps a maximum of 6 guests, with no more than 4 adults.

Guest Access:
Complimentary early check-in and late check-out is available from 1 June until 31 October, subject to availability and booking schedules.
Standard check-in is 2:00 pm and check-out is 10:30 am. If the calendar allows, we are happy to offer earlier arrival times and later departures during the quieter winter months at no additional charge.

The Neighborhood:
Bluebelle sits above Huruhi Bay, directly across the road from the calm shoreline and coastal walkway.
Little Oneroa Beach is approximately a 15-minute walk away, while Oneroa Village is only a few minutes by car. Oneroa has a wide choice of cafés, restaurants, shops and galleries.
For breakfast or lunch, options include Akito Café and Wai Kitchen, while Solar Eating House and Fenice provide further daytime dining choices. In the evening, The Oyster Inn and Fenice are among the nearby options.
Mudbrick Vineyard and Cable Bay Vineyards are both a short drive away, while The Heke is another nearby option for food and local drinks.
Bluebelle's position gives guests easy access to Huruhi Bay while remaining close to Oneroa, Little Oneroa Beach and several of Waiheke's best-known dining and vineyard areas.
Getting Around:
The nearest bus stop is within walking distance and connects directly to the ferry, Oneroa, Onetangi, and major parts of the island. Buses stop outside key wineries including Cable Bay, Mudbrick, Stonyridge, Tantalus, Te Motu, Wild on Waiheke, and The Heke. Taxis, hire cars, scooters, and e-bikes are available. Street parking only.

This is a self-catered holiday home, not a fully catered stay. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, coffee, tea, and milk to help you settle in on arrival. Once these starter items have been used, guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies needed during their stay.
For properties with a fireplace, stays between 1 June and 30 September include a starter supply of firewood. Additional firewood can be purchased from local petrol stations, Woolworths, Four Square, and Mitre 10.
Beach towels are provided at properties with an available pool or spa. Guests staying at properties without a pool or spa will need to bring their own beach towels.
This property has no TV.
There is a ceiling fan in the main living area, a wood-burning fireplace, reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating in the main bedroom, and two portable fans at the property. Firewood is stored under the house.
Dogs are welcome at this property.
There is no driveway. Guests will need to park on the street and walk up a cobblestone pathway and there is a few steps to reach the front door. This property may not be suitable for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues. This property can not be accessed with a wheel chair.
