Studio 2 sits on the first level beneath the owners’ holiday home, with its own entrance and a sheltered patio nestled into the greenery. The space has a calm, steady feel, with soft daylight coming through the sliding doors and the beach just across the road.
Inside, the open-plan layout keeps everything practical and uncluttered. A comfortable king bed sits alongside a small lounge area — an easy spot to relax after a swim or settle in with a book before dinner. The kitchenette includes the essentials for simple meals: a small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, bowls, cutlery, and glasses.
The bathroom is clean and functional, ideal for quick rinses after the beach. The patio works well as an outdoor sitting area, offering privacy and a quiet place to read, rest, or enjoy a drink at the end of the day.

There’s parking at the property, and Little Oneroa Beach is just across the road, so no need for shoes.
Check-in is from 2pm, and check-out is 10:30am. Early or late check-out may be available for an additional fee, depending on bookings either side

Aqua Sands – Studio 2 sits directly across from Little Oneroa Beach, known for its calm water, sheltered bay, and relaxed feel. The local dairy is only a short stroll away for takeaway coffees, snacks, and classic fish and chips, making day-to-day beach living effortless.
A gentle coastal walk brings you into Oneroa Village, home to cafés, bakeries, restaurants, boutique shops, galleries, and Waiheke’s community cinema. It’s an easy, walkable stretch that keeps everything close without needing a car.
Waiheke’s well-known food and wine spots are also nearby. Mudbrick and Cable Bay offer sea-view dining just over the hill, while The Heke provides a lively brewery setting with wood-fired mains and craft beers. The area blends beach simplicity with excellent dining within minutes of the studio.
Getting Around:
The Little Oneroa bus stop is a short walk from the studio, with routes running to Oneroa Village, Onetangi, and the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Buses also stop near all major wineries, making wine tasting easy without a car.
Hire cars, taxis, scooters, and e-bikes are available across the island. On-site parking is provided if you’re bringing a vehicle.
