Barndo Hideaway at Hy Sun Ranch

I find it is getting harder to find a peaceful place that's in harmony with nature and not so far off the beaten path that it takes tremendous effort to get there. This vacation destination is at the end of the road butting up against protected land. You are 1.5 miles to the freeway but in a quiet setting. This recently built space is above a brand new barn (barndominium). All you see out the windows are wildlands, horses, mini donkeys, Daisy the sheep, roaming chickens with the occasional cows, constant wild turkeys and if you are lucky a passing bear. The nights are black and filled with stars. This spacious 875 square foot living space boast high ceilings, many amenities and comfortable furniture. Hy Sun Ranch is the perfect location to relax or adventure.

We are a few minutes to downtown Auburn with fine dining and much to do: local wineries, pubs, lakes, hiking, biking, kayaking/paddle boarding and more. Day trips to Grass Valley, Nevada City, Truckee and Tahoe are within an hour or less if you feel like exploring.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned apartment, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. Colleen was an amazing host. The place was spotless, so organized, had everything you needed and more. She did such an amazing job with the place, it is so cute and you feel right at home. Her communication is top tier, very down to earth and she is so nice. Highly recommended!
