Just 10 miles to Houghton and Hancock, it’s the perfect gateway to the natural wonders of historic “Copper Country”. For the adventurous, enjoy hiking, waterfalls, mountain biking or rent an ATV and experience the almost unlimited trails that the UP has to offer.

Our stay was great, the home was beautiful, the cubbies were perfect for our snow gear and there was plenty of wood for the fire, we stayed in January with low teen temps and had mass snow fall which was perfect for our snowmobile plans. The road/drive was consistently plowed, I’d only note for others staying with similar plans to be aware if you’re trailering sleds, the hills on Sunset Pl to get to the cabin can be pretty gnarly. We hope to be back in the future!

Property has EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more including, and best of all, a beautiful beach and sunsets! Location was great. Very close to Houghton and Hancock but also convenient for exploring other areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula including Copper Harbor and the Porcupine Mountains.
