Needs a deep clean
We love APATB and have been visiting annually for 30 years. Have stayed in many units in the property. This is the first stay in a 3 bedroom unit. The extra space was very nice to have. Beds were comfortable enough (not very soft but ok for us). Sheets were clean. Comforters had an odor and needed to be cleaned. Kitchen needs proper stocking. Here were the things we found:Stove burner indicator always blinking/glitching or is lit up solid, even when knobs are off. Master bathroom fan doesn’t workThere are no pot holders, only 1 dish towel and dish clothThere’s No cutting board. Had to purchase one. Only 1 of the knives provided will actually cut anything. The rest chew through what you are trying to cut. Had to purchase knives. Dishwasher did not effectively clean dishes and had to run twice. Most dishes in cabinet were dirty (had dried on food bits, probably from dishwasher not working well), all had to be washed prior to using. There was hair everywhere, some/a lot of it looked like animal hair. Baseboards, bathrooms, rugs, under beds, etc. Unit is overdue for a deep clean. There were dirty socks and small toys under the small bedroom twin beds. Middle bathroom toilet runs more than it should. All the rugs need to be shampooed or replaced. Obvious grime on some of them. We pulled them and left in the laundry room to not have to walk on them. Crock pot was an appreciated kitchen appliance, but it is slow, even on high setting, so start it early.
