Not worth the cost
The location of the Shutters condos is great! The condo was really just ran down and did not look like the owner put much care in maintaining it. Broken table on the deck, mold in the master bathroom bath. Pots and pans with limited selection and looked worn out. It wouldn't be so bad if it was about a third cheaper than what we paid.

Beautiful view... terrible experience
The view could not be beat! but the property and the interaction w/the property mgmt company was the worst. The property was not clean, the ice maker did not work, the dishwasher did not work and the was infested w/fleas! I called to have these things fixed and the maintenance guy came (he was very nice and did his best), but I was there for over 6 weeks and NOTHING was fixed before I left. Additionally with the fleas, you couldn't sit on the couch or you were covered w/fleas. The exterminator moved the couch and told ME i needed to clean under the couch... oh really. I asked for a partial refund for my stay because of all of the issues, including that the fireplace that was listed as "working" was disconnected and received no response and no partial refund. I've used VRBO before and have never had such a terrible experience. My guess is that it's with this property management company and the way they're handling their properties. It was cheap because it was off season, the view SPECTACULAR, but the nasty conditions negated the whole experience....
