At first glance was decent. After a few hours in the room. The first of many roaches appeared. I went to management immediately. The supervisor on duty at the time was apologetic and understanding and ready to address the issue. The place was and other area hotels were booked for Labor Day weekend. The solution given was to treat the room and re clean it while we were out for the day. I accepted those terms with hopes it would work out. Well needless to say it did not and more roaches were present when we returned at 1:30 am as well as staff leaving behind the empty roach bomb treatment cans in the room. Again the staff was accommodating and I was moved to a new room the next day because a room became available after a check out at the hotel. The property gives apartment complex because there were people who have been living there for a while. It’s an Extended Stay property which was not a problem. Overall it needs up dates and renovations inspite of the reviews with the 8/10 ratings because the area was nice 20 mins outside of downtown ATL and could be a hidden gem for family that travel.

The room had flees and the rep was trying to persuade me in to staying in the room by having it bombed and sprayed. But that should have never been an option. She should have immediately moved us to a different room.

We stayed here for a concert in the area. Rates are good, rooms was clean and spacious. the rooms with the kitchens could use an upgrade, but everything else was find. Check in was good. Didn't eat the breakfast the next morning due to they only serve from 7-9am. the only place I have ever stayed that only serves for 2 hours.

I did not like the fact that the tv in the living room did not work and the desk lamp did not work. There was only 1 lamp that worked in the living room. In the bed room there was no fan and only 1 of the 2 lights worked. The WiFi on the tv in the bed room kept going out.

Quick stay in Alpharetta

The hotel is well located and the staff is friendly. It is good for the price, especially if need two bedrooms that sleep 4. Stayed 4 night. Plenty of places to eat near by.

Long term renters posted outside our door all hours of day/night just smoking, coughing, talking, and watching videos on phone loudly. Kept us up and made our room smell like cigarettes. Beds were clean but carpet and floors had large brown stains. Overall the room spelled terrible for all 4 days we were there. Also, someone checked us out of our room without our knowledge and they gave our room to someone else. Luckily I caught it when the housekeeper tried to clean and told us we had been checked out. Hotel clerk corrected it for us but acted very put out about it to me and tried to accuse me of being the one to check out early. Thankful it was brought to my attention before we left for the day or we would have returned to strangers in our room and our belongings gone. Just felt like we were treated as intruders and we had inconvenienced everyone there by renting the room.

Spanish speaking lady working at breakfast was sweet and kind. Good breakfast. We liked staying at other Sonestas often inc. 2 others nearby. This was the worst. Lots of black mold visible in shower. Smell of mold from AC. Signs of painted over mold around air vents/walls. Bathroom sink wasn’t draining/was likely in need of routine maintenance. Smell of weed around pool and BBQ area. We asked politely if they’d allow us an early checkin if room happened to be ready earlier than 4pm. We said we knew it couldn’t be guaranteed -that it was just a polite request. We explained we had a family member with med condition finding it very hot and that person had lots of medicine that was getting overheated in car too. They indicated they’d accommodate if it ended up being ready earlier. When we got there they said they wanted $25 fee. We said we’d come back before 4pm checkin as the room rate was already high. We returned at 3.45 to get our multiple bags out of the car and do checkin paperwork and were left waiting until 4.25 for checkin. Anthony, desk clerk, was pretty unfriendly all the time. The other lady working around the front desk wouldn’t let our son sit on a chair in the lobby while waiting to checkin. Said he needed to buy food from hotel snack shop to sit there. We later noticed other guests fold laundry and hang out at that seating area without complaint. They also wouldn’t allow us to use pool while waiting and didn’t offer to hold bags.
