Steeped in history, the area was shaped by railways and Atlanta’s first horse-drawn trolley line, supporting much of the city’s post-Civil War growth. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and recognized as Atlanta’s eighth Landmark District, Castleberry Hill represents the most complete surviving warehouse district in the city.

Living spaces
This entire rental unit sits in a newly completed 2023 building in the heart of Castleberry Hill. The main living area opens into an expansive loft-style layout with distinctive brick and tile accents and custom furnishings throughout. A lofted mezzanine lounge offers a second place to relax, whether you’re watching TV or enjoying a quieter moment away from the main level. From here, step outside to the private rooftop patio, where the city skyline becomes especially striking on crisp winter evenings.
Sleeping arrangements
The layout includes three bedrooms with five beds, accommodating up to 10 guests. Two of the bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, while a third semi-private room includes an attached half bath. The setup allows flexibility for groups or families traveling together.

Bathrooms are stocked with essentials, and a bathtub offers a place to unwind after a day exploring the city. A free washer and dryer are located in the unit, making longer stays easy and convenient.

Parking is straightforward with two free parking garage spaces on the premises, along with free street parking nearby. Self check-in with a smart lock allows for a smooth arrival experience.

Exterior security cameras are located in common areas, elevators, and entry doors, with no cameras inside the condo. The home is equipped with a smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit for added peace of mind.

The Otis is more than just another Atlanta building. Located in the neighborhoods main entertainment corridor, It’s a new living space that offers a mix of history and modern style, all thanks to the special touch of one of the community’s former residents — designer turned television star Ty Pennington. Pennington, an ATL native and graduate of Atlanta College of Art, is best known for his work on the original Trading Spaces and ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Almost every piece of artwork in The Otis – not only in the spaces but also inside the gallery (which is the common areas) – is custom work by Ty Pennington. The Otis is named for an elevator manufacturer that once operated on the site. The preserved façade still carries the company’s logo.

Parking: The rental includes two spaces in the covered and secured garage. The garage has a 7'5'' height restriction. Free public parking is available in front and behind the building. Extra parking spaces can be purchased by request, if available.
