Midtown Paradise

The Kimpton Shane is swankee. It is beautiful and the staff are very attentive. We were on 11 in the most comfortable King bed. Right across from our room was a parking deck with the coolest deco design - it is practically a piece of modern art. The only thing I didn't LOVE about this place were the floors in the room - laminate look like wood - pretty they are, but noisy to walk on.

Great mid-town location. The room was wonderful, as well as the restaurant next to the lobby. My only complaint is that the front desk staff were less than helpful and not warm or welcoming. Throughout the stay, I spoke with several staff at the front desk and they all treated us like they were uninterested in assisting us and they were inconvenienced by our presence. Also, it should be noted that the hotel apparently does not have bell services, so you are on your own in getting the luggage to your room. There is a cart in the lobby to use, but no assistance is available, unlike most hotels in the area.

Nice property in a great location. Clean and accessible. Excellent beds, we slept awesome. Panorama rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Wanted to give a 5 star, but lobby was super noisy at arrival, open to the bar. That said, reception and staff very friendly. No offer to assist with luggage. Aweful lighting in the bathroom.
