Drove 6 hrs promising my 5 yr old daughter that we would go swimming when we go there. First thing we see is pool is closed due to maintenance which was not communicated through site prior to booking. The pool was the only reason we booked there. When asked for a refund we were told no. They we get tot he king suite room look on the bed and they have 3 little pillows. Looked like throw pilling in a pillow case. Called the main desk and asked for more pillows a was told there were no extra pillows. Are you kidding me. The lady at the desk took me finally to another room and made me grab some more pillows off a bed. Was not a great stay for the price and further more Everything looked like it was poorly maintained. Water spots all over the walls from leaks and visible mold on the A/C vent in hallway. Very dissatisfied.

When I arrived there was no one at the desk I pushed the call button and waited no one came so I called the fron desk and someone answered. She was busy elsewhere but she came and checked me in. We got to iur room and opened the door and there was a towel on the fklor on a wet bath mat, as we walked in the bed looked like somone just git out if it., we took oics and went nack to the front deak, were yold House keeping nust have akippwd that room and never went nack to it. So she was quick and nice to give us another room. The sink faucet was loose and c l iaet doors were ogf the tracks. it smelled of bleach but was clean smoke defe tor had a bag over it..we went to check our the indoornpool which was what made me choose that hotel and it had a sigh it was under maintenence. The woman there seemes ti have her hands full and was trying to please people. The next morning at breakfast we met 3 other people downstairs when we told them about our experience all 3 different parties told us they had the same thing happen the room wasn't cleansd and one said it looked like a crime scene but she did give us all a differnt room, however one said their Ac didbt work and others said things were broken or in disrepair. The Main desk staff was kind and nuce, as for the housekeeping staff and maintence they were the worst ive seen evidence of.. everytging looked old newde drepaierd and wasnt really clean excelt the beds they were fine.

Staffing displayed excellent service. The owners REALLY need major overhaul of the building. If you look closely, one could see once it was an 5 star hotel. MAJOR concerns which is safety is the elevator. The permit says 9/2023 last inspection. Ugh, I sent email to John King State of Georgia Fire Safety Commissioner. This falls under his office. Lastly, we are all people , why or this oversight laps happen? What if fire broke out ? I know to take the stairs, would others ? What if the elevator falls or entrapments. This would be huge pay day for lawyers and person filing.

Let me start with staff, all of the staff members displayed professionalism and courtesy. Here is WHAT is major concerns " the elevator " the inspection placard states last inspection 9/2023 John F. King Commission red flag. In the event of fire I would know the take the stairs, would other? The elevator opens and closes on it own. Weird.... The owners of the building placard in the lobby JK Stone Mountain LLC wondered if that's actually true? If so how could they allow their building permit on elevator to expire and risk lives? Look before you leap !

My room was never serviced the entire time that I was there. Mold on the shower curtain, the tub was dirty and our linen was never changed and they never once cleaned the room. Also they never gave us clean towels. And never made the beds. A total mess.
