Our stay at the Wyndham Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center was extremely disappointing. From the moment we entered the room, it was clear that maintenance and guest comfort are not priorities here.
The toilet was broken upon arrival and would not flush. We called for maintenance, and while someone came up and claimed to fix it, it never worked properly for the rest of our stay. The shower was also broken, the showerhead would not stay mounted on the wall, making it very difficult to use. In the bathroom, the light fixture was literally broken off the wall, and only one light worked, leaving the space poorly lit and unsafe.
The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and felt comparable to something you’d find in a 1980s Motel 6, not a Wyndham-branded hotel. To make matters worse, the room had only two working outlets and did not include a refrigerator, which is unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. Overall, the entire hotel looks severely outdated, as if it hasn’t been renovated since the 1980s. Between the broken fixtures, uncomfortable bed, and lack of basic amenities, this was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve had. We would not stay here again and do not recommend this property to others.
