I stayed in Diamond Athuruga in late October with my family. This is a small island and it is perfect if you wish to have a quiet week or two of rest. We loved the food, the beaches and the people working there. Special mention to Mohammed who always remembered our drinks, Amun’s who welcomed us to the resort, the chefs working to prepare the delicious food, Rasheed and Gabriel, one of the staff members there. Everyone there was a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed the swimming and the snorkelling. There is a great coral reef there with a drop where the water is much deeper. We saw turtles, wild dolphins, nurse sharks and a sting ray. The only negatives are that there is no WiFi in the beach bungalows, there is a lack of entertainment in the evening and no pool or a gym. I still very much enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

We have been to other resorts and this is hands down the best resort in the Maldives. Everyone we talked to raved that the reefs and resort are the best around! They cleaned our room twice a day. They designated a person to pick us up and take us to the airport. Everyone was beyond friendly!!

Bonito hotel pero no vale lo que cuesta

La isla es muy bonita y las habitaciones ocean view que fue en donde mi esposa y yo nos quedamos muy bonitas también. Lo malo empieza con el servicio de las personas locales que trabajaban en el lugar, pésimo servicio y dado de mal modo. El hotel es todo incluido sin embargo el horario de comida es muy reducido y son horas muy específicas, lo cual te reduce y te limita en tiempos tus vacaciones es cuando a maldivas lo único que quieres ir es descansar y no tener que estar sujeto a horarios. La comida sin embargo muy buena. El wifi es gratuito en las habitaciones pero es pésimo. Una velocidad demasiado lenta que fuera preferible no contar con ese wifi. En general un hotel bonito pero le falta mucho mejorar y por lo que cuesta uno esperaría mucho más.

Semplicemente tutto perfetto

Abbiamo esagerato con le immersioni ed il cibo! consigli: fate un mese di digiuno prima di partire,lasciate a casa scarpe e portate solo un paio di infradito per eventuali gite in citta (qui si vive scalzi anche al ristorante), costumi, coprisole per i pasti, mute e magliette per non bruciarsi in acqua, niente pinne... ne computer: fornisce tutto il resort nell offerta tutto compreso! Da rifare!
