The hotel was very nice and clean, the staff was very friendly. It was centrally located. We walked to almost everything we did. It is located on a pedestrian street that cars do not travel with tons of dining nearby. We had a very enjoyable experience.

The staff here was excellent and the place itself felt very secure despite being in the middle of the city! Definitely need to be okay with some late night noise as there are a lot of late night bars and restaurants in the area but they have done a great job of sound proofing the rooms as much as possible! Incredible place, would absolutely stay here again!

Everything was awesome. The staff is extremely helpful, they gave me tips on where to go. Location was actually insane. You’re in the safest part of town. Nice nightlife, not bad soundproofing, breakfast place is actually awesome. You’re less than a 10 minute walk to all the major sites and attractions. Highly recommend. I would honestly say from a New Yorkers point of view this is an awesome place. Definitely the best bang for your buck, the pictures and other reviews from other people didn’t do this place justice it needs this is awesome.

The location is excellent, but because there are many entertainment venues / bars nearby, it can get quite noisy. If you are sensitive to noise, I highly recommend bringing earplugs. Other than that, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. I would definitely recommend it!

I really liked this place – very clean, beautiful old building, spacious room. It's on a busy (and very lovely) street so if your room faces on to the street, then there will be noise. But somehow it was fine – I used earplugs and white noise from an app and slept beautifully. And in the morning it was all calm and there is a lovely church just opposite. The housekeeper who checked me in and out was lovely, and the manager was very helpful when I was unable to unlock the safe. And Psirri itself is a great part of Athens to stay in. Hard recommend.

The pros: (1) excellent room, very clean, well furnished and maintained. (2) good location in the center of Athens. Unfortunately the downsides of this visit overrode the good parts of the hotel entirely. Since the hotel is in an active street it is impossible to sleep before 3 am. The closest bar had a guy singing frank sintatra songs on full volume from 8 pm to midnight and music blasting until 2:30 am. Even after that bar closed there were hoards of drunk people singing, screaming etc. I’m not sure if there’s no sound insulation but unless you’re planning on partying all night do not stay here. If you have an early flight or ferry forget about it.

Beautiful place, but unbearable levels of noise from the street outside. Essentially impossible to sleep. The room was modern and clean, but unfortunately the noise from the street outside would typically roll on until 3am and start again about 6 or 7am. Bass from nearby bars and clubs even bypasses earplugs. Ironically called 'Whisper'

It was a great place to stay (and would have given 5 stars -- except it was very noisy at night -- an issue management is proposing to address in the near future). Using "WhatsApp", communications with the manager (Dimitris) were quick, concise, and extremely helpful. We also had to meet in person on some things and he was very accommodating to do so. Location was super, in that there were many restaurants in the immediate area, etc. Access to Athens historical areas were walkable, and we really enjoyed exploring from this location. Dimitris also arranged transportation for us to get to the Cruise port ... which was very helpful since info from the cruise-line was limited and rather confusing.
