The hotel was wonderful! It was clean, the check in and out process was great. The breakfast was incredible. They were so nice and allowed me to check out a bit late. I would stay there again. The hotel is about 10 months walk from the square and a little more to the Acropolis.

Sweet Home Hotel was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making check-in and our overall experience easy. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a good variety of options. The location is excellent, with many of Athens’ main attractions within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. I stayed at Sweet Home Hotel for two nights in late April 2026 as part of a wider "odyssey" across mainland Greece. Location (a few steps from Syntagma Square), room and breakfast were all just perfect. Also, staff was very kind and helpful. This hotel is a true gem, and I recommend it whole-heartedly.

Sweet Home Hotel is an awesome place to stay. While staying there one can understand what hospitality means, starting from the room to small details, everything has been taken care of with love and complete dedication to their guests. Location is perfect, close to everything, rooms are nice and neat, breakfast is tasty and one actually see the kitchen when it is prepared.

The location was wonderful. On a quiet side street in Plaka. Very convenient to everything. The staff was great. The breakfast was very good - fresh and varied with local specialties to sample. We even had a view of the Acropolis from our window. Decent size bathroom and good size shower. On the downside, the room was small with limited storage so we had to live mostly out of our suitcases. There is a wardrobe for hanging a few items but no drawers. You can overlook this deficit if you are not planning to spend much time in your room. Overall, it was a great stay.
