Rooftop bar had amazing view of the Acropolis at night and very reasonably priced cocktails, less than half the cost compared to another rooftop bar nearby. Luggage storage was very handy as I arrived at 8am and check in was at 3pm.

Location is fantastic

This is a hostel - not elegant in any way, but location is fantastic, staff is very friendly and helpful. Unless you plan to stay in your room instead of exploring, this is perfect, economical choice. Roof top bar overlooks the acropolis- beautiful!

Good youth hostel in the center of Athens

The hotel is very close to the Monasteraki metro station. The neighborhood itself is more suitable for young people than for families. If you are traveling with children, choose the nearby Plaka instead.

Great rooftop, and location

Great location. Excellent rooftop bar, where guests actually hang out, making it easy to meet people. The large dorm is actually good size, and lockers are big. Although storage lockers before or after checkout are not free. Lobby is good place to hangout as well, and more fancy than most hostels.

As an hostel, a wonderful place & few meters away from Lively Monastiraki, The hostel by itself was clean and comfortable, though, the alleyway had late night disturbances (can attribute it to weekend?) Marianna, from the reception was very helpful.

Property was great although Expedia says checkout is later than it is. Checkout I believe is 11am but Expedia said noon, so the concierge came up and was telling us we didn't have the time we thought we did. They were perfectly pleasant but it forced me to pack quickly. It is a very funcional hostal, so in athens that is perfect. After one drink and dinner on the roof terrace i never went back, that is a place for silence and quiet talking together. I found there very loud horrible músic instead. I went to the Indian roof terrace where the view is the same and the tranquility fantastic!!

Decent but a hotel is better

It's ok for the few hours I was there. The bathroom in the dorm where I stayed stunk . It's because of the poor hygiene from one the girls in the room. Can't blame the staff. Get a two star hotel for just a little more in Athens and get your peace.
