I sent this email to the property on September 10th but did not receive a response. Please avoid staying on Saturdays and Sundays.
We recently stayed at this hotel expecting a comfortable place to sleep, which is the fundamental purpose of any hotel stay. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. During our stay, an extremely loud party occurred outside that lasted until 3:00 a.m. The music was unbearable, making it impossible for us—and other guests—to rest. We immediately complained to the front desk, but were told there were no alternative rooms available and that the staff could not assist further.
The following morning, while checking out, staff informed us that this is a recurring issue that continues until October. Had we been notified of this in advance, we would not have booked. There is a notice at the front desk mentioning “some noise,” but it did not prepare us for this level of disturbance.
Because the hotel did not provide the essential service we paid for—peaceful accommodations—we formally requested a full refund for our stay. We lost a day of our vacation due to the inability to sleep and had to check out at 6:00 a.m.
The hotel should be transparent about such events and be prepared to offer compensation or, at a minimum, earplugs to guests. We understand that the loud music was not coming from the hotel, but from a restaurant facing the hotel. This is a problem involving the laws of the city, the hotel and the restaurant.
