The L’Avventura Hotel was very conveniently located in an historic part of Athens and 400 metre from Monestraki metro station which is great for those arriving from the airport or ferry. Staff were very helpful with advice about food and check in and check out. Within easy walking distance of Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and Archaeological Museum (which is outstanding). My advice is to head out of the “tourist area” towards Kepamikos to see the “real” Athens with its clusters of similar businesses and where prices drop dramatically!

Stay at L’Avventura was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and despite being surrounded by many bars, the soundproofing was very good, making it quiet and comfortable at night. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was intermittent and occasionally unreliable.

This was an older property and the rooms showed it. Elevator was extremely small and you were lucky to get one person with two luggage’s in it. Minimal contact with staff as everything was done online prior to arriving. Breakfast area had a great view of Acropolis.

The location was very good, bed was comfortable, clean room and there was elevator although small which we appreciated because previous hotel didn’t have it. The staff was very nice and allowed us an extra hour to check out because we were so jet lagged and my daughter needed more time.

Very well located charming hotel. Despite its central location, the room was quiet, which is very appreciated. Only annoyance is the luggage storage, which is basically ´based’ in the customer bathroom, so not really safe and especially not very hygienic.

This hotel is in the heart of alllll things Athens!! Super convenient to all the shops, restaurants and just exploring. I will say it is loud (its in the middle of the city) but if you are tired enough it will not bother you lol. PLUS the breakfast was so cute on the 4th floor and honestly whatever the honey dessert thing they have - I'm still dreaming of it.

Excellent location, walking distance within 15-20min to most attractions. The hotel is nice and clean, tiny elevator tho but I do understand that is an old building. I would love to have a tinted shower glass for some privacy even I am traveling with my husband. Plus I had to ask for extra blanket because its so thin. Furthermore, the hotel provides 2 bottles of water per day, definitely take advantage of that! Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and will choose it again when I come to Athens!

Incredible staff and location. After an issue with our original hotel reservation we found L’Avventura at the last minute and so happy we did. The location was convenient to everything and included a sheared space with a spa where we received a splendid couples massage. The staff were wonderful helping us with many requests. Thank you so much.
