A wonderful overall experience. The room has A/C but it only works on heat and cooling according to the dates set by the hotel operations. An A/C in the room is one of my first "Go-To" when I choose a room. It was so hot when we arrived and the A/C could only be set to Heat. If I knew that in advance I wouldn't choose to stay there.

We only stayed for one night so we didn’t take advantage of all the amenities on offer. The map takes you to a wrong gate, a call button and they quickly tell you where to go. There is about 6 steep stairs and then you go to the third floor to check in. The two young ladies who helped us when we arrived were fantastic! Friendly, poked after bags, arranged an airport shuttle, joked with us and told us everything we needed to know.Our room was great. Small is but well priced and super functional & clean. They don’t have air conditioning. But a window opens and lets good air in, it’s noisy from the street below but it was a nice chatter and restaurant flow vibe going and beautiful food smells, which drew us out.They have one of the smallest elevators. Near the Cuban district and easy walking distance to the Acropolis!. Bed was comfortable, shower nice. Lady that followed us to the lobby at 5:45 am was a bit overbearing. We had arranged for a airport transfer so we took our bags down to the ground floor to make it easier from our 1st floor room (remember the tiny elevator and reception is on the third floor) She came down and asked are you checking out? We said yes shortly. She said do you have a key? As soon as we drop our bags…. When I went up, she continued to grill me on why we were leaving? Why he left the door open? he is taking 4 bags down the stairs on his own. You don’t know what Taxi (explained yesterday) Why would you leave? 3rd degree grilling! Like I was running??

Rooms are small, but very nice. Bathrooms are not separated by a “real” wall, only by a glass window, so you need to be very comfortable with the person you’re sharing the room with. Staff is awesome, the breakfast was very delicious and they offer laundry service. Highly recommend this hotel !

Worst experience in my many years of traveling. 15 steps to enter hotel, making it very difficult to carry luggage up. Elevator holds only 2 people. Registration is on the 3rd floor. WORST OF ALL, the floor-to-ceiling drapes collapsed. The night manager tried but was unable to rehang them. Since there were no other rooms in the hotel, we were transferred to another around the block. We were not given any refund or reduction. The night manager was outstanding. Otherwise a horrible experience.
