The room though is very nice, modern and spacious. The bed and pillow are very comfortable. It was also very reasonably priced. The first desk staff were very nice and they very happy to help with anything. The bathrobe and slippers were also a nice addition. I also liked that the safe was big enough to fit a laptop in as I happened to be carrying mine this trip. The mini bar was also nicely stocked with tea and coffee being free. I didn't take anything else so I can't comment on the prices. However, it can be very noisy outside in the evenings/night but I get to sleep pretty easily and don't get too disturbed by noise. The shower in the room and is completely transparent. Definitely not a room you'd share if you weren't with your partner. As a solo traveller I didn't like that there was no peep hole or lock in the door. It's not the end of the world but would have made be feel a bit better.

Absolutely lovely hotel in the heart of Athens‘ historic centre. Two metro stations less than five minutes walk from the hotel, while countless cafés, restaurants, bars and shops are literally at your doorstep. Despite the busy area, the rooms have good sound protection, so we were not disturbed. The only downside is that the WiFi while stable, it hasn’t got a great performance.

Overall very good location in the center and the room felt very clean. However one big problem was that our shower was completely blocked, the water was not moving down at all and there was no separator between the shower and the rest of the room. As a result we had to stuff every towel possible to keep the water from not going all around our room, and even then it was not possible. I don’t understand how this was missed if the shower was cleaned. That was my main concern, and the fact that the hotel was sending me messages in WhatsApp without asking me for permission first, to propose private transport from the airport.

L'Avventura Athens is perfectly located in the city and will allow you to walk almost anywhere to the main attractions of Athens (10-20 minutes walk). Location is key, room were comfortable and clean. Cleaning Ladies were so friendly and double-checked on me to make sure I had all I needed. Front desk were very friendly and helpful especially Nora and Anna. There are a lot of great restaurants right under the building (try Atlantikos and kalamakia o Elvis) it is great for days you do not feel like going far. I would return to this property or their sister one next door if I am ever in athens.

Location is good for walking to the sights. Right next to a fish restaurant, transfer couldn’t get to the hotel , so had to walk with our bags through this very busy fish restaurant. Reception was on the 3rd floor. Elevator extremely small enough for 2 people or 2 large pieces of luggage. Our stay was OKAY, we asked for late checkout at 1pm since we were leaving Athens that day. This hotel will store your luggage if needed.

A wonderful overall experience. The room has A/C but it only works on heat and cooling according to the dates set by the hotel operations. An A/C in the room is one of my first "Go-To" when I choose a room. It was so hot when we arrived and the A/C could only be set to Heat. If I knew that in advance I wouldn't choose to stay there.

We only stayed for one night so we didn’t take advantage of all the amenities on offer. The map takes you to a wrong gate, a call button and they quickly tell you where to go. There is about 6 steep stairs and then you go to the third floor to check in. The two young ladies who helped us when we arrived were fantastic! Friendly, poked after bags, arranged an airport shuttle, joked with us and told us everything we needed to know.Our room was great. Small is but well priced and super functional & clean. They don’t have air conditioning. But a window opens and lets good air in, it’s noisy from the street below but it was a nice chatter and restaurant flow vibe going and beautiful food smells, which drew us out.They have one of the smallest elevators. Near the Cuban district and easy walking distance to the Acropolis!. Bed was comfortable, shower nice. Lady that followed us to the lobby at 5:45 am was a bit overbearing. We had arranged for a airport transfer so we took our bags down to the ground floor to make it easier from our 1st floor room (remember the tiny elevator and reception is on the third floor) She came down and asked are you checking out? We said yes shortly. She said do you have a key? As soon as we drop our bags…. When I went up, she continued to grill me on why we were leaving? Why he left the door open? he is taking 4 bags down the stairs on his own. You don’t know what Taxi (explained yesterday) Why would you leave? 3rd degree grilling! Like I was running??
