Halandri (or Chalandri) is a northern suburb of Athens and has been around since ancient times, when it used to be called Flya, and boasts the playwright Euripides as one of its most famous residents. Explore this charming up-and-coming neighborhood with the lively cocktail bars and cafes on shady pedestrian streets around St. Nicholas church.
