Brand new quiet, and welcoming apartment with a patio only a 5-minute walk from the Acropolis and 450 meters from Siggrou Fix metro station, and 500 meters from the Acropolis metro station. Also, the apartment's location is very close to most of Athens's well-known attractions, including the Acropolis Museum, the Plaka neighborhood, Herodion, and the busy city center. Furthermore is close to the pharmacy, supermarket, cafe, and traditional restaurants.

Great location, the basics

The best part of this place is the location, close to Plaka, Acropolis, and pretty much anything else you'd want to see. There are many neighborhood restaurants, and bus/metro nearby. Communication via messaging with the host was good, especially his confirmation when I was being "phished." I wish I had looked more closely at the photos, as the apartment is on the first floor with not much natural light, though there is access to a small patio. There is a hot plate, not a stove. The basics were there, such as dishes, a few pieces of silverware, towels. But that's about it. We needed to buy our own soap and shampoo, and there isn't a hairdryer. The air conditioning is great, as is the the ability to open the door to the patio for fresh air. But there are a few details in the apartment that could be better. For example, the toilet seat doesn't fit the bowl, and other details are rough or overlooked. This apparently is a new listing and there weren't other reviews before we rented, but the apartment is not *new* or newly renovated.
