We specifically stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Athens airport. While messaging with the hotel before arrival we were told they may not have a shuttle to the airport because we were checking out at 1100 and needed to go to the airport at 1700. The description in the hotel site said free airport shuttle. When we arrived a very nice hotel staff gentleman assured us we would have a free shuttle to the airport and they could store our luggage until then.

The airport shuttle was relatively easy. I let the hotel know I am very sensitive to noise. They still put me on the first floor right across from the stairs and elevator. I heard so much commotion. The rooms are not very soundproof. Then I asked about the a/c and fan. I thought it was working. An hour and half after I went to sleep, I was sweating and needed the desk staff to come up and show me how to get it working. I am a mechanically savvy person, but the control made no sense. The hotel was clean. I felt comfortable walking in the neighborhood.

Directions for catching the shuttle are a bit ambiguous. We finally figured out where to go but the driver was insistent the confusion was our fault. It put us off a bit. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous.

The room, linen, and glassware was clean. Check in/out was speedy. The location is in a suburb with nothing really remarkable around it. The VIP bottle of wine was only .5l and not the .750ml I expected. There is a restaurant across the street that is well worth a visit with great food and fair prices. I noticed many locals getting take-away. The shuttle was late on pick-up from airport but on time for going to the airport. Keep in mind this is a shuttle and not a taxi so you are stuck on their timetable. It is everything they promised and not a bit more. All said, I would stay again if I am only overnight between flights.

The hotel is easy access to airport, so very convenient. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Communication with the front desk was excellent. Our flight was delayed a total of 5 hours though we had no information on when the departure would actually occur until 4 hours into the delay. I was back and forth with the front desk scheduling then rescheduling a shuttle. The front desk always responded in minutes and very gracious given all the uncertainty. Just be aware: the shuttle does not operate on a regular pick up schedule, it is on request and not always available at exact time you would like. Recommend calling quite abit ahead of time. Alternate is to schedule a private taxi which they will assist you with as well. Very flexible and nice people at the front desk.

Our first driver was excellent second was grumpy about our luggage! We did not have a bath mat for the shower so we had to sacrifice one of 4 towels.
