I wouldn't typically give a 5-star review to a motel, but this one deserves it. We made the reservation while sitting in a car at a store in Coos Bay, driving the beautiful Oregon Coast. Within two minutes I received a call from the manager asking when we anticipated our arrival so that they could make certain someone was there. After arrival, we found that the room was very clean and in better condition than we expected at an older motel. Please don't interpret my 5-star review as a promise that you are staying at the Ritz. It is a value motel, after all. I just think they are providing you better quality than you typically receive for the price you are paying.

My partner and I booked this motel for a romantic weekend of cooking breakfast together before exploring the Oregon coast, coming back in the evening to roam the streets of Astoria. The rooms were excellent and recently renovated, the property manager was kind and got us all the cooking supplies we needed, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations- especially for the price.
