The lodge is nestled in a beautiful setting in the trees along side the lake. It was perfect! We watched a fawn from our balcony while we had coffee. Great stay, wish we had stayed longer.

Arrived later than expected 1am. Staff on duty was very pleasant. Breakfast was fresh both morning. Rooms were clean and ready. They don't offer maids service unless requested. Love they have tried to stay as rustic as possible and value the history of the area. 10/10 will stay here again.

Clean, nice staff. The pool at the lodge is not in operation and that is a real bummer. The AC also seems to be struggling which is understandable in 90 degree weather. Nice little restaurant, fishing area, and campgrounds. This would be a perfect stay in the fall.

Great Stay. Did not try the restaurant but the menu has very interesting items with local influences. Hike or fish right from the lodge. Park land is enormous with great trails for hiking, biking & mountain biking.

The Lodge was perfect for my stay. The rooms are very clean, and the large windows overlooking the hills and lake were definitely a plus. There is a trailhead nearby with easy access to the lake. The seating benches could be replaced as they are old and splintering, my only complaint. It is a beautiful place overall.

Beautiful surroundings with well maintained trails and good hiking. Staff excellent. Great library. I was a disappointed to be in a room near a loud outdoor fan, which made sitting outside unpleasant.
