Way overpriced for what you get. But then they are right outside Mt. Ranier National Park, so I guess you're paying for its close proximity, and the fact that there aren't many other lodging options available. .

The overall property and room were nice. It was quiet and the breakfast basket was just as described. The only major downside was the air conditioning did not work and our room was between 78-80 degrees all night. That made for a pretty miserable nights sleep.

We had a suite with all bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Front desk very helpful at check in and with suggestions on where to eat in town. Suite had a washer/dryer which was a nice surprise. Very convenient to get around.

The stairwell to the 3rd floor was brutal. The AC portable was so noisy we had to turn it off. The website pictures of the property was much nicer. Sorry for giving this place a low rating but I don't want to deceive any future guests.

Alexander Inn was the perfect place to go for a quiet personal retreat. The room was small but well appointed with a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. This was very much appreciated since the dining out options were very slim. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to be able to check in before the appointed time. The backyard was quiet and peaceful and I felt well entertained by the enormous trout in their little lake. I would definitely go back.

The hotel was cute and the pond is lovely. But at 245 am the power went out. A really loud generator kicked on but it only gave power to the floor below us. We ended up leaving really early because we couldn't sleep and had no power. Also one of our breakfasts were wrong. Maybe the rooms should be equipped with a flashlight in case this happens again.
