We having always enjoyed staying here with the rustic atmosphere, river balconies and convenience to local shops, restaurants and Chimney Rock State Park and were so glad it reopened along with other places in town. The only negative is staff/office is not always available onsite (but we didnt need anything important) and no ice machine (but we were fine with our cooler and fridge in room).

Location was great! It was close enough to walk up town, so we didn't have to worry about finding a parking place. We enjoyed sitting on the private deck listening to the river. Though no fault of the management, we had some very loud neighbors that kept us awake until very late and woke us up very early. It was a quaint little lodge and we will be back!
