Good location, easy (often steep hilly) walking distance to downtown and Harrahs. The staff was great, kind and welcoming. This is a good, budget friendly, no frills place for Asheville. We were told on night 3 that housekeeping had to be requested, still took 2 days for fresh towels and trash to be taken out but beds were left unmade and no bathroom cleaning. Hot water was scace one day, but probably an influx of guests. Elevators are slow, but not a deal breaker. Expected a bit more from a Sheraton, but overall safe and decent place to sleep.
