Was just OK. My flight got canceled so I needed a room for one night. Older hotel so not in the best condition but was fine. What annoyed me was that there was no Do Not Disturb card and housekeeping woke us up early when checkout isn’t until 11. Anyway, you get what you pay for.

Staff was awesome. Bed was comfortable. Room was gross. Carpet smelled really dirty like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Wallpaper in the room was literally peeling off every wall. Windows were covered in paint and filthy. The place needs a real updated and scrubdown for how much it costs per nigh. The lobby and bar/restaurant had random stuff piled everywhere because they said they were renovating. Get a storage pod. It really looked bad. It's in a good location but probably wouldn't stay there again.

The door connecting to the room next door was so hollow that we could hear every sound coming from our neighbors. Other than that, we found our beds to be extremely comfortable. The location was great for a very competitive rate.

We chose this hotel because it was a reasonable price and had a good location to the downtown Asheville area, which we thought wasn’t worth going to. The breakfast buffet was $16.95, but we didn’t think it was worth it. The food was average,, at best. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking was easy and the staff was friendly. Good coffee in the morning, in the lobby.
