We had an amazing experience at The Downtown Inn! Despite the weather, the Inn was extremely accommodating and we could not have been more grateful for the hospitality! Great hotel and great location

We had a great stay at the Downtown Inn. The location was perfect and within walking distance of so many places to visit. The room was clean and had a great view of the mountains. The price made it worth it too. We would stay here again.

Much of the interior was dated. And the cable tv did not work well. Other than that it was definitely a place I would stay again. I felt safe as a woman traveling alone. It was close walking distance to many shops and restaurants downtown.

If the only thing you care about is location, then this place is great. But if you want some space or light or a decor that doesn't scream 1960's motel, then this place probably won't cut it for you. I don't remember how it was advertised but I guess I never expected a motel room from Vrbo.

Very Nice Place and People!

Everyone was very kind and helpful. We had our two dogs with us and they were very accommodating to them! They even had dog biscuits! Place was clean and the location is perfect! We could walk right to the downtown area.

A place to put your head down

It's a motel near a decent amount of walkable places in downtown Asheville. Parking was not good. They have one lot in the front which is tiny, but free. The parking lot behind them is paid parking. They have a breakfast, but its basically 3 bland cereals or a bagel. It was a place to put our head down for the night.

The heat was insufficient for the tiny room. After asking for a space heater and sitting in the room with our winter coats on for an hour, we had to leave and find a different hotel. It was miserable!

This place has had a few bad reviews regarding it being dated. I had absolutely no issue with it, and the front desk workers couldn't have been any friendlier and accommodating. This location was smack dab in the middle of everything we wanted to do and see. All within walking distance. Room was super clean, secure and very large. The Downtown Inn is definitely the spot we will be staying at again when we go back for our next visit. Was super happy with it.

The hotel needs some TLC

The place needs some TLC. The lobby was not very inviting having construction things all over the place plus the clothes/luggage carts were visible next to the elevator.
