I would like to see this hotel pay more attention to older clients over 70. The hotel does not supply rubber stoppers for the tub if the client wants to take a bath versus a shower. Also, the client, forced to take a shower has to stand in a tub that has a slippery surface with no rubber mat. The ideal would be to also provide hand bars but I understand the expense. At minimum there should be stoppers and a rubber mat for safety. Everything else was lovely.

I had two queen beds both were HORRIBLE. I felt like I was sleeping on the box spring. I asked if I could change rooms but was told they were full. After checking online there seemed to be several rooms available. I The room was clean. The morning buffet was good. I checked out the first night after 3-4 hours of sleep in a chair. I went to the Holiday Inn across the street. Much nicer for $15 more a night.

First, let's be clear...this hotel is not in downtown Asheville. It is located over a mile east of downtown. Those wishing to stay downtown Asheville should look for a different choice. The hotel itself was clean and well decorated. The beds in the room that my wife and I stayed in were very comfortable. The hotel location has easy access to the expressway, but the area seems somewhat rundown with individuals loitering on the street asking for money. The breakfasts were fairly standard hotel breakfasts with the biscuits being the highlight. The cleaning staff was friendly but started daily room cleaning at 8 am which tended to delay elevator access. Overall, I'd stay in this hotel again when travelling through the area but I'm not sure that I'd stay here for a multi-day trip to visit the Asheville area.

Parking was free, bur cramped in the front. The place was clean as a whistle and there was 24 hr desk staff. The walls of our room were thin and the neighbors were very loud (I typically do not care) but a call down to the desk took care of that within 5 minutes or less. I have no idea what they said to them, but thanks!! The breakfast area was cramped and there wasn't a lot of food choices. Coffee cups were about 4oz's. All in all, it was a sketch area, but we felt safe and comfortable. Good bed too!
