A great quiet location of the beaten track. Rooms clean and comfortable and the food was fantastic! Stayed here for 3x night for a business trip. Definitely will return if I am in the area again. Surrounded by fields, as an option, I took a walk along one of the fields adjacent to the hotel.

Relaxing Stay

Stayed for a couple of nights when visiting family, found the hotel superb, room comfortable, restaurant served good quality food and was delicious. Staff very friendly especially the chef who served us our breakfast. Lovely location in a pretty little village.

Nice hotel and room was very big. Good service from the staff. The pie of the day I had for dinner was one of best I've ever tasted. Full of proper steak and kidney. Truly excellent! Would definitely be staying here again.

Nice room but too hot!

The hotel was nice however there was an issue with the boiler which meant none of the radiators could be controlled in the rooms and were on at full blast as long as the main boiler was on. The room was absolutely stifling hot even with windows open full. Luckily the heat didn’t stay on all night. The man at reception said there were aware of the issue and did hope to get it fixed soon.

A lovely overnight stay for us, just a shame we arrived late evening so couldn’t really make the most of the facilities! Fabulous evening meal and reasonably priced then a lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend
