Taylors Motel was great. A very convenient stop after we explored Mount Cook and headed toward Christchurch! Rooms are large, quiet, very clean and comfortable with with free parking in front of guest door. Owners are very friendly and knowledgable. Family restaurant is across the street with full menu and adult beverages. Stays open late. Strongly recommend Tayors Motel.

Very clean & comfortable room. Room amenities were over and above the standard of any other motel that we booked in NZ. Due to severe weather, our trip was delayed so the motel owners were very accommodating in letting us stay another night despite being heavily booked. Would recommend this motel to anyone travelling on the South Island. Close to dining options, walking distance to town centre and easy parking options.

A great motel for the price. Walking distance to the shopping/ restaurant area. A bit tired but clean, and room had a great layout. Small kitchen had oven, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. Even a little dining table for 2! We really enjoyed our stay here. Fully recommend.

A fantastic motel. Beds were great and it was nice and quiet. Good bathroom and kitchen facilities. It meant we could have good meals in our room when not out dining. Our hosts were very accommodating with a last minute change to our booking. I highly recommend the motel and will be back next time we're in Ashburton.

Such a lovely stay at Taylor’s Motel, friendly owners who turned heating on ready for our arrival and even went in and closed curtains for us to keep heat in after our late return. Unit very comfortable, clean, quiet and well located.
